Soukoku no Maryu serves as an epilogue to GARO: Makai Senki where Kouga must now go to the Promise Land to get back the seventh fang of Gajari, the ultimate source of power, found inside the body of an evil dragon. But when he got there, his three sacred treasures (Zaruba ring, white clerical garment and the sword of Garo) were missing, thus he cannot become Garo. Kouga must first retrieve his treasures to challenge the evil dragon to a final battle!
